In memoriam:
Stavroulla Tsangarides
- Book of Condolence -

The Queens’ community has been saddened and shocked by the sudden loss of Stav. The outpouring of emotions that has followed the distressing news is an illustration of Stav’s standing as a greatly appreciated, loved and respected member of our community for so many years. Several generations of staff, Fellows and students will remember Stav as a strong supporter, always there to welcome and care for members of our community. As a friend, as a colleague, and as an inspiration, Stav will be remembered for all the thoughtful things she did for so many.

Please find below a link to an online book of condolence which we also intend to share with her family. Our preference would have been to have in-person contributions as part of a bigger community event remembering and thanking Stav for her decades of significant contributions to Queens’.  Given current circumstances, including the many who are working from home and may also be abroad, we have opted instead for this virtual solution.
