New York Alumni Event

Hosted by Queens' President, Dr Mohamed El-Erian

Attendees at New York City Queens' College alumni event

Just weeks after a visit from Rowan Kitt, Fellow and Development Director, Queens' Global Network members were able to connect once again in New York City, this time to meet the President of Queens', Dr Mohamed El-Erian.

During our Development Director's visit, many alumni from Queens' expressed that they were keen to meet the President. Dr El-Erian was due to visit the United States for the IMF's Debate on the Global Economy in the following weeks, so a further event was organised as expediently as possible to allow alums to see Dr El-Erian while he was in America. The Queens' Alumni & Development Team arranged a drinks reception, kindly hosted at the Cambridge in America headquarters, our partners in fundraising and alumni relations in the United States.

The event was a great success, providing an opportunity for Dr El-Erian to personally express the College's gratitude to those who participate so enthusiastically in the alumni community overseas.
