Global Alumni Events: Singapore
Development Director and Fellow Rowan Kitt attended two events in Singapore in early November 2022.
As part of the Queens' Global initiative, Development Director and Fellow Rowan Kitt attended two events in Singapore on November 2nd.
The first event was a finance luncheon, very kindly hosted by Mr Abrar Mir (1992) of Quadria Capital Investment Management. The event was arranged to facilitate networking between Queens’ alumni working in finance in Singapore. Queens' President, Dr Mohamed El-Erian, dialled into the event virtually to speak to attendees from the financial sector, and even joined in the group photograph remotely (see above).
The second event was a gathering in the Gilmour Room of the Singapore Cricket Club. We were delighted to welcome over thirty Queens' alumni in the evening, where buffet food and drinks were served, and Rowan gave a presentation on recent news from Queens'.
Thanks to Christy Oi, Samantha Tham and David Bateson for helping to facilitate these events in Singapore. We hope to see all attendees at future events.
